ANIMALS

This time we are going to learn about animals, some of their features and habitats. As usual we will do it by means of videos where we will be able to practice vocabulary, sing songs and enjoy ourselves.

Shall we sing the song 'Has it got a tail?'. This song can be found in Quest 2, by Macmillan.

Do you know what the grasslands are? Can you name any animal living there? Here you have a video that can help you.

Animals are really important in our world. That's why in this new lesson we will learn about animals

But first of all, let's see how much you know about animals. Please, fill in the following questionaire.






Now, let's practice  some VOCABULARY. We  will learn the name of different animals using the song from Macmillan Quest 3, "Animal word rap". Enjoy it.

Now we will learn HOW TO EXPRESS LIKES. For it, again, we will use the song from Quest 3,"Do you like animals?"

Let's talk about different animals, but... what kind of language do we need to know in order to describe animals?

To finish this learning unit, we will work on a project: We will do our own digital book. In it, we can speak about our favourite animal, giving a brief description of it.

Miss Grace

Miss Grace is the story of a woman who sleeps very, very deeply.

To work with this story, among other different resources I've prepared a couple of videos. In one of them we can see and listen to Miss Grace story. In the second one, we can retell the story by using pictograms.

The more you watch them, the better you learn the story.

Now let's try it again, but now with the help of pictograms. Once you are able to tell the story on your own, turn the sound off!

Shall we learn the name of different animals in English. Let's do it by learning a song.

Animal story

This is a very simple story about a group of friends that went to the forest for a walk and got really really scared.

I must apologize for the sound quality, but... I promise I'll try to improve it.

Let's try to tell the story again ,but... this time... with the help of pictograms. Once you are able to tell the story on your own, watch it again but without sound this time, ok?
